Our story so far

2021/22

JPM Research Project

The JPM Silicon Research Project initiated in 2021/22 focused on developing foundational techniques for silicon recovery from End-of-Life-Panels.

March 2023

Foundation

In March 2023, the project gained financial backing from EIT RAW Materials to establish necessary infrastructure and push foward with technology development.

September 2023

First Closing

By September 2023. further investment from PSD Bank was secured, providing additional financial support crucial for the ongoing development and implementation of the recovery technology.

May 2024

First Production Line

The first small-scale production line, set for May 2024, will integrate seperator and delamination systems to enhance silicon recovery, making a crucial step towards larger-scale production.

June 2025

𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗶𝗥𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 Project

Approval for 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗶𝗥𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 Project with the goal of recovering high-purity silicon and silver from end-of-life PV panels in a single integrated process

December 2026

Launch: Process Line

Launch of the first industrial laminate and flake processing line to recover silicon, silver and copper
